Ceremony & Reception - Columbia Station

Phoenixville, PA

Built in 1858, The Columbia Station serviced the Reading Railroad as a passenger train line until 1972. In 1982, the Station was purchased and renovated into a catering facility. Robert Ryan Catering took possession of The Columbia Station in 1998. A complete interior and exterior renovation was completed in late 2010.

Today, The Columbia Station offers beautifully manicured grounds, a garden ceremony site, fully restored caboose for the bridal party, a grandiose bar, Club Room for Cocktails and Hors D'oeuvres, a Grand Ballroom with two story ceilings, three crystal chandeliers, and floor-length custom golden tinted drapes.

The exterior of Columbia Station is brightened by a full perennial garden, large window boxes with seasonal plantings, mature trees, custom awnings and a sandstone facade.

Ceremony

Our ceremony will take place in the garden, in front of a beautiful gazebo.

Reception

The reception starts with the cocktail hour in the club room. This area also stays open for those who want a quieter area during the party.

The Grand Ballroom has two story ceilings, elegant chandeliers and big dance floor.

Another unique feature of the venue - the bridal suite is in an old caboose at the back of the ceremony area!

Our DJ is providing lighting for us to make the room look even more dramatic (don't worry, it won't be pink).

An old photograph of the station when it was still operating on the Reading Rail Road.
